I’ve done 10 parkruns

Tenth Parkrun

Merthyr park run

After this Mornings parkrun, my tally so far has reached 10 and my fitness journey continues.

I have only completed parkruns at Merthyr Tydfil and time is improving but its been hard work.

My slowest time at the parkrun was 27:11 but this Morning I got my PB again at 23:22. The parkrun at merthyr is quite undulating, and its definitely a good park run to try if you want a challenge. I have really enjoyed it. In the future my aim is to complete other parkruns and to keep working hard to beat my time.

Merthyr Park RunThe run this Morning was strange as I was aching and had sore muscles from running Yesterday. I didn’t feel right and had thought of not doing it, but as I was at the event I decided I would do it anyway, and was just wanting to finish it. Then I go and get a PB. It goes to show that even if you don’t feel up do the task, then just do it, as you may even surprise yourself. There’s no better feeling then achieving something that you thought was impossible.
